My Skincare Routine

Hey, loves! Today I’m going to share with you my current skin care routine. My evening skin care is one of my favorite parts of the day; I always feel so refreshed and I love the feeling when your skin feels super clean and soft. Anywho, let’s get to it!

I can’t say I do this every day, but before I get in the shower to remove any makeup I use the Josie Maran Argan Cleansing Oil. I love this oil because it completely cleans off all my makeup (with the exception of extremely heavy eyeliner) and  removes any makeup or oil that is clogging my pores. I take a tiny amount of this cleanser and wipe all over my face, and then I get my hands wet to lather up the oil; it has a very milky texture when you do this, which I personally enjoy.

When I jump in the shower I rotate between two products: Philosophy’s Purity Made Simple and Clean & Clear’s Deep Action Exfoliating Scrub. I love Purity because it makes my skin feel radiantly clean and I have noticed a difference in the brightness of my skin since I’ve started using it. I like to exfoliate my skin a few times a week to clear my skin of dead skin-cells and to help remove the severe dry patches on my oily skin. This scrub has such a cooling and minty feeling that leaves your skin feeling refreshed.

The first thing I do when I get out of the shower is moisturize. Using your moisturizer right after you get out of the shower helps lock in the moisturizer more effectively. The one I currently use is Clean & Clear’s Essentials Dual Action Moisturizer. Honestly, I’ve been considering purchasing a new one because I have been having really bad dry patches, and this just doesn’t cut it. However, I would recommend this to people with oily skin. After this I follow-up with my Advantage Acne Spot Treatment by Clean & Clear. I use a small amount of this on any blemishes that have popped up on my face. Finally, (my favorite part) I take super tiny amount of my beloved Benefit It’s Potent! Eye Cream and apply it all over my under-eye area and eye-lid. This eye cream truly brightens my eyes and helps me wake up looking fresh and ready to face the day.

Right before I hop into bed I use a lip balm because I’m slightly addicted to them and my lips feel no bueno without it.

That’s it for my skin care routine! Let me know if you’d like to see more skin care posts in the future! Thanks for reading, and I hope everyone has a phenomenal week! xoxo
