Scents of Spring: Hollister Malaia Perfume

Hello, beauties! One of my favorite things about spring are the fresh, floral, and crisp scents that come from the blooming flowers, the ocean, and just something about the general atmosphere of spring is refreshing and renewing. Today I am going to share with you one of my favorite scents to wear during the transition and into the warmer months of spring and summer.

The Hollister Malaia perfume is perfect for transitioning into spring because it is floral yet still has a musky mysterious element that reminds me of a bonfire at sunset on the beach. Behind the mysterious musk of the scent is a light and feminine mixture of blooming flowers, vanilla, and notes of lavender. This scent is perfect to wear during the daytime for any occasion because it’s floral, fresh but not too overpowering.

I also adore the packaging: the bottle is old-fashioned with a bulb on the side that you squeeze to release the perfume. So far it has held up surprisingly well; I thought it would be somewhat flimsy and break after a while, but it is quite sturdy.

Just a few sprays of Malaia on your neck, wrist, and chest and you’re set to go. The scent lasts around 5-6 hours, so if you are going out on an all day outing it might be well to reapply once during the day. Hollister creates some of my favorite perfumes, and this is definitely one of them. Malaia is the perfect mysterious and feminine scent for spring that isn’t too floral or too musky, so I think it would appeal to a wide range of people.

That’s all for today beauties! Stay tuned for more Scents of Spring, Monthly Favorites, recipes, and tutorials coming soon! xoxo
