The Procrastinating Beauty Blogger Tag!

Hey, loves! Today I felt like doing a tag, and I found this one. Since I am just starting out here in the “blogiverse” (see what I did there?), I am trying to do a wide variety of post types. I saw this tag floating around on several people’s blogs and thought it looked fun and interesting! So, let’s get into it!

1. Name a beauty regime that you rarely do?

It’s shameful to admit…but I am the WORST when it comes to properly removing makeup. I don’t know if it’s because I still have not found a liquid makeup remover I like or if I am just that lazy, but I hardly ever use actual makeup remover. I have tried 3 different kinds of makeup wipes along with 2 liquid removers and all of them irritated my eyes afterward. Right now what I normally do 98.99999% of the time is I use a the Clean & Clear Sensitive Skin Cleanser to remove all my eye makeup, and then I follow with my cleanser I use for my full face. I suppose it’s not the worst thing, but it’s not the proper way at all. I know…it’s a horrible horrible habit.

2. Is washing your make-up brushes something that you do regularly?

…Not at all. My brush collection is quite small (it probably doesn’t even deserve to be called a collection) and so washing them is something I put off. I use my hands a lot when applying makeup, especially face makeup, so I don’t even use 50% of my brushes all that often. I do intend on ordering the BubzBeauty makeup brush set soon (I’ll do a review for sure), so when I get those I will probably force myself to stop being lazy and clean them.

3. How long will you last with chipped nail polish?

Usually when my nails start getting more noticeably chipped the most I can stand is two days. Chipped nails have always been a pet peeve of mine. Your nails go from looking all nice and classy with polish, to totally tacky and messed up in just a matter of days. What’s even worse is I always end up chipping them myself somehow…

4. How long will you put off buying/replacing a beauty product, even if you need it?

Unless it’s something absolutely essential (like mascara), I can put it off for an extremely long time if I want to. I am the worst at spending money on myself, even if I need to. If I run out of something and I don’t have a lot of money at the time or I am saving for something bigger I always manage to find something to temporarily replace it. I once went without concealer for about two weeks…and I pretty much looked raccoon. Lack of sleep + no concealer = no bueno

5. What is your worst beauty habit?

My worst beauty habit would have to be, like I said above, not removing makeup. It’s kind of awful. Either that or never using face primer even when I am going out for a whole, long day.

6. Name something non-beauty related that you put off doing all the time?

Definitely cleaning out my closet and my dresser. They are so stuffed full of just…stuff! In a few of my drawers I know that I don’t wear at least half of what’s in there but I can never bring myself to getting out garbage bags, pulling out all my drawers, and going through each little item.

7. When going out somewhere, do you leave getting ready to the last minute?

I never try to, but I always unintentionally do. When I am looking forward to something and I have to wait awhile before I go out, I always try to tell myself to not get ready too early but then I end up on Netflix and before I know it I only have an hour or less to get ready. So, I guess I procrastinate without even meaning to?

8. Can you commit to spending bans?

Like I talked about in question four, I could commit for a long time if I really wanted to. After Christmas though, I had to force myself on one after spending far too much Christmas and my own money at Sephora. That’s enough for me for a while. Hahaha!

9. How organised is your make-up and nail polish collections?

Does all my makeup and polish being in one place count as organized…? …Probably not. All my nail polish is grouped together on my dresser, and my makeup is in a big makeup organizer below my sink. That’s about the extent my organization.

That’s all for the tag! I had fun answering these questions and if you’re reading I tag YOU to do this on your blog! I will be away for the weekend but expect another post on Tuesday. Thanks for reading! xoxo
